I started following Blue Ridge Custom Flies on Instagram a while back and have always thought Adam tied a bunch of great looking patterns. Being a sucker for pheasant tails, I saw the Electric Pheasant and was sold! I bought a dozen of them and got my first chance to try them out on the Tuckaseegee River on Memorial Day weekend. Turns out I wasn't the only sucker for them. Browns, rainbows and brookies were all going after the Electric Pheasant and I was getting some really hard strikes. I brought 20 trout in the net that day and an untold number of horny heads too. The real kicker? I used ONE fly all day! I had to re-tie a few times after hanging a few rocks and getting wrapped around a limb or two but that fly held together like a champ! Thanks for the great flies Adam, I'll definitely be stocking up on a few more patterns. ~ Stephen Wiley, Greenville, SC

I've known Adam for over a year now and he's been such a great help on providing me with great quality flies. I've caught many fish with his flies including two of my biggest trout. Not only has he provided me with great flies, but also has given me great knowledge on how to become a better fly fisherman. ~John Ellis, Hickory, NC

Couldn't be happier with the cyborg crawlers and stoneflies that Adam tied for me. The first time I planned to try them out I went to a small creek fishing for picky natives. Didn't catch anything at first, but changed to a Turd Ferguson and never looked back. Couldn't be happier with the flies or the service. He's super easy to communicate with and is great about keeping you up to date. It was definitely worth the wait, thanks Adam! ~Grant Fitts, Blue Ridge, GA

About a year ago I wanted to get into fly fishing but needed some help getting started. I saw that Adam was a local guide in the area so I asked him to take me. That's where it all started, I have been addicted ever since. I fish multiple times a week on the tail waters of the Watauga river in East Tennessee and always make sure I have some of his patterns he ties in my box. He is a great tier and a great guide. I highly recommend his flies and guiding. ~Mason Coffey, Boone, NC

My first order from Adam and what a result! My best rainbow of 2016 on his superb golden Stone!....the big Rainbow of about 22" hit it within seconds of landing in the water.
